Final Movie Project

This is obviously an ambitious project. Youalready know a lot about film making so be confident and seize the day! Here isthe nitty gritty:

You will come out of this experience with agreat deal of film study and acting for film knowledge.

Your pre-production portfolio:

1. A movie poster styletitle page. Include as many details as possible to create an authentic lookingtheatrical movie poster.

2. Include a cast list,complete with a detailed description of each character.

3. Narrative storysummary/script. A written account of the movie form opening to close. Be sureto follow the plot structure for short stories.

4. Storyboards. Eachmember of your group will produce a minimum of 6 detailed storyboards forshooting your film.

5. Shot list. Create aworking shot list for the shooting of your film. This can be a checklist thatyou can follow.

6. Prop list. Adetailed prop list with the name of the prop, a drawing of the prop and a briefrationale for each prop is required. Keep it simple and only use propsnecessary to tell your story.

7. Set Design. A listof settings where you will shoot your film. For each setting, give a briefdescription of the rationale for your location.

8. Music/Soundtrack.Indicate the music that will underscore your movie. Include all details of yourmusic including composer, artist(s), lyrics (if any) and a rationale for yourchoice.

9. Bonus: This is forthose creative types who like to design tickets, advertisement, teasers andpromotional items like popcorn containers and pop cups, tie-ins like actionfigures etc.

After you haveturned in a Short Movies portfolio, you will then go into rehearsal,construction and production.

· Youwill produce a Short Movies.

· Yourfinal cut film will be between 6-8 minutes in film

· Youwill ALL be acting characters in the film

· Youwill ALL be camera operators during the filming of the movie.

· Youwill ALL be actively involved in the postproduction editing of your film using

· I-movie4

· Wewill ALL thoroughly enjoy going to the movies together to view your final projects.
